Day 2

Manali – Chandigarh
300 km | 8 hrs

Chandigarh – Manali drive. This is a long but beautiful drive through the Great Norther Plains onto the Mighty Himalayas. As you get closer to Manali, the magnificent River Beas will start flowing beside you. Take a break for tea / snacks on the river side..
Continue your drive.
Once you find yourselves driving through a long tunnel, Manali is not too far. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening will be at leisure to enjoy the wonderful weather and in house facilities at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast, explore the picturesque town of Manali
PLACES COVERED
– HADIMBA DEVI TEMPLE: An ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba from the Mahabharat era. You will quickly recall the place, where a number of movies and serials have been shot over many years.
– VASHISHTH BATH: Located at Vashishth Temple (in Vashishtha Village), legend has that a bath here cures many diseases.
– MANU TEMPLE: Dedicated to sage Manu, this is a very old temple located on the banks of River Beas. The old town area can get congested though
– TIBETAN MONASTERY: Many people from Tibetan culture have settled in Manali and this monastery reflects the varied culture of the region

Day 4

After breakfast, morning visit Solang Valley
ENJOY
– ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES: Spend the day enjoying many adventure activities at the valley. Zorbing, paragliding and many more options are available here
– TROLLEY RIDE: Trolley ride takes you to various levels offering view of the Himalayas
– MARHI / ROHTANG PASS: Visit the snow point. Rohtang Pass generally remains open from June to September (subject to weather conditions). Marhi is better accessible for tourists for longer periods of the year

– Our vehicle will not be allowed to travel to Rohtang Pass / Marhi. Vehicles will have to be hired from local union and will be directly payable (this region is open from May to September – depending upon weather condition)

Morning drive to Shimla. Enjoy the drive among the Himalayas to reach the capital city of the state. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel

After breakfast, explore the town of Shimla and important tourist attractions around Shimla. Start by travelling to Kufri first
IN KUFRI
– HIMALAYAN NATURE PARK: Enjoy sighting of many wild animals among the temperate vegetation
– INDIRA TOURIST PARK: A good place to enjoy snacks among picturesque surrounding
– YAK RIDES: Enjoy Yak rides in Kufri or take pictures wearing Himachali dresses
Return to Shimla town to continue your sightseeing tour.
IN SHIMLA
– JAKHOO TEMPLE: Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the temple offers a panoramic view of Shivalik ranges (by trolley ride – directly payable)
– THE RIDGE: Situated along Mall Road, The Ridge is the hub of all cultural activities in Shimla
– CHRIST CHURCH: The 2nd oldest church of India is located right in the heart of the town
– GAIETY THEATER: Another attraction on the mall road, Gaitey Theatre is an important heritage cultural complex
