Typical 1 night itinerary for Haridwar
DAY 1 | Arrive Haridwar and check into the hotel. Start your day in Haridwar by visiting Har (Hari) ki Pauri to take bath at the Holy Ghat. Also, visit Mata Ganga Temple at the ghats. Later in the day, visit Mansa Devi Temple (ropeway / trolley ride may involve waiting time), Maya Devi Temple, Sapt Rishi Ashram, Daksheshwar Temple and Bharat Mata Mandir
In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the Evening Arti on Holy Ganges. Overnight at the hotel
DAY 2 | In the morning, visit Rishikesh town. In Rishikesh, visit Swarg Ashram, Laxman Jhula and Bharat Mata Mandir. By afternoon, drive back to Haridwar to connect onward journey.
