ABOUTAt 2590 mts, Tiger Hill is the highest point in Darjeeling. The spot is famous for the breathtaking view of mighty Himalayas including the Kanchenjunga peak. A permit is required to visit Tiger Hills as there has been a restriction on the number of jeeps that can travel to this spot.
ENJOYEnjoy the view of the Himalayas from the top at sunrise. One has to start as early as 0330 hrs (0415 hrs in winter) from Darjeeling to reach the spot in time. Ghoom Railway Station, which is the highest railway station in Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is located close to this spot.
