Experiences
Rajput Romance: Rajput Romance of Rajvilas is a rejuvenating spa experience for couples, which uses Ayurvedic techniques to relieve tension and stimulate marma points around the body.
Renewal of Vows: An irresistibly romantic day. Our Renewal of Vows experience begins with spa rituals for the ‘bride’ and ‘groom’, followed by traditional henna hand painting, salon hair, make-up and traditional dress for him and her. A horse drawn carriage will deliver the bride to our flower-adorned Shiva temple, where a Hindu priest will bless the couple. After the ceremony, the guests can enjoy a romantic dinner for two accompanied by live, traditional music at the poolside, with views of the temple.
Sunset at Naila Fort: Travel through the Jaipuri countryside in a luxury chauffeur driven car. Sip on high tea or cocktails and watch the sun go down, with the one you love, beside the magnificently restored 18th century Naila fort.
Poolside Dinner: Indulge in exquisite Rajasthani delicacies with a thali meal at our poolside. Lit by mashaals (flaming torches) and with views of our ancient haveli (mansion) on one side and our 18th century Shiva temple on the other, a Poolside Dinner is a truly wonderful experience.
Note: Live instrumental music can be arranged at a supplementary charge.
Chaarbagh Dinner: Chaarbagh is a wonderful venue for a romantic dinner. Caressed by the light of the moon, Chaarbagh sits at the top of stone steps intersected by rippling fountains that flow into a spectacular, blue tiled water body.
Cooking Sessions: Embark on a fascinating culinary journey with our masterchefs at Rajmahal restaurant. Discover the secrets of herbs and spices used in Indian cuisine, and learn how to recreate the authentic tastes of Rajasthani Lal Maas, classic chicken curry and buttery dal. Guests can take home recipes from our kitchen and their very own Oberoi apron.
Breakfast in Herb Garden: Enjoy a refreshing, guided morning walk with one of our masterchefs through our herb garden.
Note: Breakfast in the Herb Garden is available during the winter months of October to March only.
Indian Wine Testing: A fantastic journey through the ancient history and vast geography of this subcontinent’s vineyards. Led by our in-house wine specialist, budding sommeliers will learn about our indigenous grapes, how to discern bouquets and choose wines to suit different cuisines.
Private Yoga Session: Welcome the morning with a gentle yoga session in our fantastic gardens.
