ABOUTIt is believed that Goddess Durga appeared in a shepherd’s dream and asked him to dig up a place to find an idol and construct a temple on this site. The temple is believed to provide protection to the locals from wild animals that roamed in the dense forests of Chaubatia in early times. The temple is more than 700 years old. Though the construction you see now was built much later in 1935
ENJOYIt is believed that the wishes made with clean heart are fulfilled by Jhula Devi Goddess. After the wish is fulfilled, one has to tie a bell at this temple. You would see a large number of bells at this temple
