A 13050 ft high mountain pass on the Eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, Rohtang Pass is around 50 km from Manali. It connects Kullu Valley with Lahaul-Spiti Valley. Rohtang Pass that remains covered in snow for most part of the year, opens between May to November (depending upon the weather conditions)
